It is the end of the year (well almost). I have spent hours of my precious life on the writing on my multiple personality blogs. I have to go back to work. I have to make money. I think this is going to be detrimental to my blog writing but it may just help me to concentrate on poem revisions.
So next year, I'm going to down play the blog writing and do the poem making. I'm happy with what I've learned on the blogs. I'm happy just sitting here creating bits of nothing but hey, it is simply not going to get me the poem practice I want to get. So I'm going to decrease the writing on the blogs and start sitting in the writing place and doing the poem making.
Of course, if I can't get a job, so sad, so bad, I will continue writing on the blogs but the poetry will come first. I've actually formed a relationship with the work that I think will transfer to the main medium of poetry.
From blog writing to poetry writing. I think that is the transition I need and want to make now. I think if I get dry in the poem making, I'll return to my cheap wine bottles here on the blogs but mostly I should concentrate on stomping on grapes and starting up the new wine for next year.
Right now, I'm listening to "Je l'aime a mourir" being sung by Francis Cabrel. Mmmm... he is the French version of Leonard Cohen. I will have a poem just as pure as one of these songs soon.
